‘Tis better to give than receive…?

1. What was your favorite gift that you received (gift giving holidays Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or heck even if you had a birthday in the month of December that can count)?

ANS: Thus far it has been these cute little socks. In the coming month or so I'll be getting a pole dancing pole installed in my home. Yaay! That will be the best gift.

2. What was the most practical gift that you received?

ANS: Those socks I spoke of in #1. I like to go without shoes but my toes are always cold so I wear socks. Socks can be slippery on wood floors so KG got me the socks with non-slip nubbies on the bottom. Plus they are red--one of my fave colors. And they have doggies on the toes--I love love love dogs.

3. What was the silliest, most fun, crazy or impractical gift that you received?

ANS: I got a couple of crazy, silly fun gifts but I'll post this:

Survival kit includes: 2 antiseptic wipes, 1 pair disposable gloves, 1 toilet seat cover.

4. If you had a special holiday meal, what was your favorite food?

ANS: KinkyGent made cocoa & chili seared tuna with rosemary heirloom tri-color fingerling potatoes. I made caramelized brussel sprouts to go with it. The meal was delicious. The tuna melted in your mouth. My brussel sprouts are pretty freakin' delicious but the tuna may have edged me out. Oh wait! OMG!! Can't believe I forgot this (probably cuz I was focused on food and not dessert). KinkyGent (aka "The King of NY-style cheesecake") made a sweet potato cheesecake for Christmas dessert. Mind blowing yumminess!! The crust is divine. I dream about this cheesecake and can't wait for a new day to come so that I can have another piece. After I had my second piece, of cheesecake--and I was in cheesecake bliss--I looked KinkyGent in the eyes and said, "Marry me." :D

Bonus: Share the recipe of your favorite food from the holiday meal.

ANS: Sweet potato cheesecake. (click to open)

Bonus, bonus: Whatcha doin’ for New Year’s Eve?

ANS: Lots of choices...too many: Some free, some costly, some with friends, some spectacular events in DC, a few are quiet getaways, most are kinky.

Happy New Year!

See who else played TMI Tuesday:

Cute socks but doesn't KG warm your toes for you? IF needed I'd be happy to help warm those tootsies for you ;-)

Sweet potato cheesecake, I like cheesecake and I like sweet potatoes but who would have thought of the two of them together....hmmmmm

LOL! Love that first image. Give me that perishable (yet renewable) gift any day.

These socks really ARE cute. Love them!

ROFLOL at the public toilet survival kit!

Your holiday meal sounds to die for! I'm salivating right now. Thanks for the cheesecake recipe.

Have fun celebrating on New Year's Eve.

It's sounds to me like the beginning of an old-fashioned warning:

A woman who marries for cheesecake..

... will never a ??? make?
... will never a ??? take?

... will never a pie bake.

Cute socks! We also love dogs. But the pole sounds better, and we'd love to see you demonstrate it sometime. Your public toilet survival kit is really funny! Archie McPhee, the company that sells it, is awesome and a must-visit if you're ever in Seattle. And your answer to #4 is excellent! We are pleased to see that KinkyGent knows his way around the kitchen. And unlike some, I enjoy brussels sprouts when done right. We would have loved to have sampled from your plates. :)

Cute socks!

Love the public toilet survival kit, that's great. I avoid using public restrooms unless absolutely necessary.

Your holiday meal sounds amazing and I hope whatever y'all pick, you have a fantastic NYE. :) Happy Tmi Tuesday!

@Southern Sir: KG warms my bottom but rarely does he warm the toes ;-)

@TS99: I'm glad you like the little image I put together *giggle*

@virtualsin: He knows I want him for what he can whip up in the kitchen ...LOL

@Cat: I do love my socks. I'm wearing them now.

@Jack and Jill: We're foodies and thank gawd KG likes to cook. When we go out to eat and we enjoy something new he always tries to break it down, re-engineer and make it at home.

@Dru: The socks are from a company called K. bell - www.kbellsocks.com

@KaziGrrl: I hope you love the cheesecake as much as I do.

@Ashly Star: I also avoid the public toilets unless absolutely necessary, and if it becomes necessary I hover.

I LOVE fun socks. I have to wear boring clothes to work (scrubs) so I have fun with my socks. There's a store called LittleMissMatched - they sell socks in sets of 3 (!) that aren't the same pattern but coordinating patterns/colors.

I LOVE dogs too!

I LOVE cheesecake. That sweet potato cheesecake sounds orgasmic!

That survival kit might work as most practical gift too!

I know where I want to have Christmas dinner next year!

@Mia that store sounds like my kinda place. Love the idea of a third mis-matched sock. :-)

@Drenchxoxo: You are correct

@Cougar in Training: We're repeating the meal tonight because it was so tasty-licious! We still have half of the cheesecake left too.
