TMI Tuesday random questions

1. Name 5 things you did more of before social networking (facebook, myspace, twitter, etc.)?

ANS: Proof-read, write full sentences, use proper punctuation. I never was much of a TV-watcher so I still probably watch as much TV. I know I listen to my CDs a lot less. It is easier to play mp3s on my laptop; although the sound is so inferior. In my free time, I spend less time lounging on my deck. Now I'm on the laptop instead. I could take the laptop outside but the screen becomes hard to see because of the reflection from the sky and the trees. Not lounging on the deck is a shame really because that used to give me soooo much joy.

2. Your house is on fire, what do you grab as you run out?

ANS: My purse, my mobile phone, car keys...maybe my laptop if it is near one of the other two items as I run out the door.

3. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

ANS: Definitely a morning person

a. What time did you go to bed last night? 11 pm. I was beat because I went to bed at 4 am the day before.

b. What time did you wake up today? 5:45 am

4. A kid comes up to you and kicks you in the shin, what do you do?

ANS:
Kick him right back! Okay that's my initial reaction of what I'd like to do. I'd yell, "What the fuck! Where's your parents you snotty little brat!" Okay, okay; not that either.

I'm sure I'd be stunned, and furious. And ask, "What's your problem? Why did you kick me? Maybe I should kick you back. Let's go find your parents." If parents were in earshot or saw what had happened, I'd turn to them and say, "Oh, my neck, my neck. I think I'm gonna need surgery. I'm calling my lawyer. I hope you have a big bank account cuz I'm gonna take you for all you've got!" << (that's the American way :D )

In reality, I'd do something calm and sensible but definitely talk the parents. I'm good at handling conflict. I used to do it for a living...and LOVED it.

5. What three things do you never leave the house without?

ANS:
House keys, my purse, and usually my mobile but sometimes I forget that. Sometimes I forget my brain too, but that a story for another time.

Bonus: Name a place that you visited last week that you've never visited before. Briefly tell us about the visit.

ANS: An olive oil and vinegar emporium where the most delicious infusions are on tap! Yup! on tap... to savor. I had never heard of such. It was a lovely lovely place. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to get drunk on lavender infused vinegar (or was it the ripe peach white infused vinegar?) and have KinkyGent pour Persian Lime olive oil (or tuscan herb, I loved 'em all) all over my body and lick it off. If you have an olive oil and vinegar bar near you GO! It's a real treat. The stuff is good in foods, on foods, on ice cream, with bread...whatever you can imagine.

http://tmituesdayblog.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/tell-me-more.jpg

1. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours"...What is it that you will show me?

ANS: The dimples on my low back, just before you lower your eyes to view my full, round ass.

2. What was the last thing you regret buying?

ANS: (Fish) Taco Tuesday dinner at The Argonaut. Bleh! It was crap and gave me an upset stomach. They used to be good; not anymore.

3. How happy are you? 1 (not happy at all) to 5 (very happy)

ANS: Right now...This very second? Pretty happy, I'd say a 4.

4. Last night, what did you go to bed thinking about?

ANS: I don't know. I've got lots of worries these days. I usually can never turn my mind off. I was pretty tired though because I have not gone to bed before 2 am since last Thursday or Friday.

5. Tell us something that made you happy this past week or made you think "that's cool!"

ANS: The gorgeous fall weather and lovely leaf color we are getting. Putting on a sweater. The whole day of Saturday: I went to see "Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same" (http://www.codependentlesbianspacealienseekssame.com/new/). Funny stuff. It'll be a cult classic, I promise you. Then we went to dinner at Nora's which was quite good but the people watching & conversation eavesdropping was THE best.

Bonus: What is your favorite mark of punctuation? Why?

ANS: The French quotation marks because I like to be pretentious. :)

Have and Have Not

I have never made Angry Bird cupcakes or cupcakes at all for that matter.

List five (5) things I have done that other people probably have not done.

1. Examined, looked inside a space capsule-- where the crew resides-- that was preparing to go on a space mission. I also possess a piece of space shuttle tile.

2. Performed doggie acupressure.

3. Sold girl scout cookies. Alright! So a lot of people have done this. I couldn't think of anything else. Well I did but it's too personal and would compromise my anonymity.

4. Been felt up by a transvestite, on stage, in front of about 300 people. It was my birthday. My "friends" thought it would be a funny surprise.

5. I have played ring toss with a penis. (See #6)

List five (5) things I have not done that other people probably have done.

1. I have never slid down a toilet. Granted a lot you probably haven't but then again, a lot of people have... Check out this giant toilet slide.

2. Carried a puppy in a purse.

3. Been in a gangbang or an orgy.

4. Rubbed fruit on any part of my body. Well there was that time I fucked a rather large banana. Oh and there was that enticingly shaped squash... (read more)

5. I have never crawled with a plug in my ass, a vibe in my pussy and a cock in mouth. (Read more)

Bonus: What is the oddest thing that you've ever seen?

A three story birthday cake complete with candles, on the side of the highway.

Bonus, Bonus: What is the oddest, kinkiest, or craziest thing you have ever done?

Craziest: Jumped into a school of jelly fish. Not on purpose. The jelly fish swam right under me as I was airborn having jumped from the side of the sailboat. I was lucky I didn't get stung; most of them were small jelly fish.

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

1. What’s the worst reason you have been given for breaking up?

ANS: Honestly, I do not recall a man ever breaking up with me. As a teen boyfriends never broke up with me. In college, I dated a lot but no serious relationships. Therefore, because there was no concrete established relationship the boys and I just kind of drifted apart once the interest waned. I had one serious b.f. in college but no break up was needed, he graduated. Let's see... As an adult, the men just sort of drift off. They never really confront you. In a few of these situations it was hurtful, and so that I could wipe the slate clean, I had a conversation that pretty much laid out that we weren't working and "it's over."

2. What’s the worst reason you gave, to someone, for breaking up?

ANS: Oh boy! I don't know what I've said. I'm always very diplomatic, succinct and firm. Sometimes I've stuck to my guns, on two occasions I did not. I went back to dating or having a loose relationship until that "fallout" relationship was absolutely not giving me anything.

3. Have you ever engineered the end of a relationship e.g doing something you know will put the other person off? If yes, what did you do?

ANS: No. I just tell you I don't want to be with you. It may take me months to get up the nerve if I am deeply, emotionally involved but I do it.

4. Have you ever stayed with a partner just because you could not bear to end the relationship?

ANS: Yes. Not because I dreaded having to act to end the relationship but because there was too much to lose at that point in time.

5. Have you ever encouraged a friend to end a relationship? What happened? Are you still friends?

ANS: Yes...very gingerly. I learned at a much younger age NEVER tell a friend to leave the horrible person that they are with and love. They have to see it for themselves. In this particular instance, my friend would express displeasure with her mate or the relationship and I would use that sort of psychiatrist technique of asking questions that illuminated the situation for her and showed how she was being harmed, not satisfied or whatever. Many times it was just a matter of regurgitating things she had already said but at just the right moments. Once her eyes opened, she saw just how bad the guy was and how he was using her. The situation turned out to be far far worse than I had known.

Are we still friends? Yes, and she thanks me often for making her "see the light". She has remarked that I never said, "oh you should leave so and so...or so and so is just awful."

Bonus: Have you ever been the cause of a relationship to end? Tell us about it.

ANS: In high school, yes. But that doesn't count. Hell you should be dating and meeting lots of people to explore and learn. As an adult, no. Some relationships may have ended but I wasn't the cause. The relationship was already in trouble, I was just a symptom of something that was already not working or had fallen apart and the people had not walked away.
